A. This does not surprise me at all. Most people are given the wrong information on improving this. The big issue is you need to do plenty of cardio exercise as most stomach problems are due to too much fat and not just poor muscle tone. So you should get the fat level measured on your stomach and focus on reducing that with a balanced diet and good cardio exercise.

The other key is toning and most people do this wrong. Any stomach exercise that you can do more than 40 repetitions continuously is no benefit to you. Once you build up to 40 reps then you need to find ways of making that exercise more difficult so that you keep getting the burn for the last 5 repetitions (don’t ever go beyond 40 reps!)

Another key is to do a variety of stomach exercise – toning the side of your stomach and the internal stomach muscles as well as the top layer all helps reduce the lower stomach. So ask your trainer for exercises for all stomach muscles groups and not just the lower stomach! With the right ingredients everyone especially ladies can vastly improve lower stomach tone.
